  1. Hi,
Scott Andrews from Australia here. I am a drummer who was asked to be a music teacher. I have spoken with Rob before. Great chat. New site looks amazing. Hey, quick question. Are you planning to do some rhythm lessons with dotted notes and ties? Just wondering??

    1. Hey Scott! Rhythm lessons with dotted notes and ties – yea great call. We need to do a big rhythmic focus and blow up the rhythmic content here sometime later this year or early next year. Definitely can get those into the mix

  2. I would love some more rhythm drills to work on ta, titi, sa etc. to transition away from the beet and cherries with the primary students before getting into formal note names. In Australia we don’t use whole, half, quarter notes etc, rather we are meant to call them semi-breve, minim, crotchet, quaver. Therefore I can’t use the videos once you start using that terminology.

    1. Yea that’s a good call. We have to really explode the rhythm side of things (rhythm performance tracks, bucket drumming, more percussion, more kodaly). I’m going to try and film some next week but we’re moving right now and I’ve got Ukulele content to edit like crazy so it might be a little bit :-/ Definitely on the horizon though!

I think you are doing a great job! I love the content, order and structure. My students love how easy and fun you have made learning musical concepts. Keep up the great work. Merry Christmas!
