General Music Level 1B Workbook (Chapters 5-8) [Ships July]

Continue building confidence and musicianship with the Prodigies Level 1B Workbook, designed to accompany Chapters 5–8 inside the Prodigies Music curriculum.

Level 1B expands on the foundation established in Level 1A by strengthening pitch development, music literacy, and performance skills in C Major. Students continue to sing, hand-sign, and play with Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, and Ti while exploring more challenging melodies, deeper musical patterns, and a growing understanding of chords, scales, and the language of music.

Using a C Major instrument such as deskbells, Boomwhackers, glockenspiel, xylophone, piano, or the free Prodigies Bells app, students will develop greater fluency reading and performing music while reinforcing the concepts introduced in earlier chapters.

Each week includes:

Lessons progress from familiar 3-note and 5-note melodies to more advanced songs using the full 8-note C Major scale. Students will continue developing rhythm skills, solfège fluency, pitch accuracy, and musical understanding through engaging songs and hands-on activities.

By the end of Level 1B, students will have a strong command of the C Major scale, beginner rhythms, solfège, and foundational music theory concepts. They'll be well prepared to move into Level 2, where new notes, more advanced rhythms, and deeper musical concepts await.
