Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ral (That’s an Irish Lullaby) is a classic song of reverie and admiration for life in Ireland. It was originally composed for the musical Shameen Dhu by Tin Pan Alley composer James Royce Shannon. If Tin Pan Alley rings a bell, that’s because it was also home other iconic composers such as George and Ira Gershwin, Iriving Berlin and Scott Joplin, to name a few. Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ral has earned its fair share of pop culture references including a standout line in the 80's hit tune “Come On, Eileen.” This version is notated in 2/4 time with a steady 8th note rhythm. It’s arranged in the key of C with lyrics and Solfège hand-signs.
Don't take our word for it
This is the most incredible thing! Jaime is 5, mostly non verbal…. she has never put more than 2 syllables of anything together unprompted. I cried when she sang Solfege on the way to bed one night. Thank you for the magical thing that your program has done for her!
Hi Bryan...you are bloody legend!!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to fix my program – I truly appreciate it! Cheers from down under!
